The tram depot in 1929 was closed in 2007 and was only finally the m vehicles of in line 2 and 15. When the conversion was sure that subordinate themselves to the newly added components for use as an exhibition space of traditional buildings. Today, the great Hall on the lower level is home to over 20 tram exhibits. Over 2,500 square meters, the story of the first horse-drawn trams is impressively presented here to the GT4. Experiencable local history topic Islands and temporary exhibitions, the fascinating world of the trams is presented to visitors.
Experience a unique atmosphere and enjoy your event to the fullest. In addition to the great Hall, we offer also our foyer for smaller events. Receptions, birthdays or even presentations can be held here. We can not offer classic adjoining rooms, but you can use our cars as workshop spaces. Groups find place with up to 20 people in four authentic wagons. The location is rounded off by a courtyard. In the summer, you have a very nice way to celebrate your event outdoors here.
The location is very easy to reach with public transport. In five minutes you are walking from the Cannstatter train station and ten minutes from Wilhelmsplatz Cannstatt in the railway world. Parking around the building and on the Cannstatter Wasen. We can offer you unfortunately no parking.
The location can be rented in the period from April to October.
