LOFTHAUS

The LOFTHAUS has two entry areas. The main entry contains the cloakroom in style of an old Belgian bay and leads wire an open staircase into the great hall. This room containing an old crane at the ceiling and three big candelabra at steel-swivel arms and has an area of about 1.000 m². Extraordinary atmospheric note: an illuminated water basin in the ground floor.
The Jägerbar could be used as a separate smoking- or cocktail-area. It is about 110 m² and styled in a nostalgic way.
From the great hall leads an inside staircase and a skyway to the Deck at the Lofthaus. There you have on 430 m² a clear view over the main hall.

The hall was build around the turn of the century an styled completely in white.

Across the Lofthaus is our new eventlocation “Werfthalle” located with nealy 7.000 m².
It is an historic streelfactory with a lengh of 150 m and a hights up to 16 m.
An old crane crosses all three parts of the great hall an offers a lot of possibilities for an exciting artistic and technical design.

The whole area are the former Gottwald factories. Gottwald was created in the year 1906. The manufacturing range in the Düsseldorf-Reizholz factory includes mobile harbour cranes, gantry- and travelling cranes and truck-mounted and railway cranes.
